There are THREE things to remember about a UV light

  1. Buy a light that is rated for the size of pond, too small won't work very well
  2. Make sure your pump won't "overflow" the light (in other words, if you have a 500 gallon pond and buy the 15 watt light, but you then attach a pump that flows 900 gallons per hour, the water is moving so fast the bulb has no time to work. See the Max Flow rating for each fixture, listed with the light)
  3. REPLACE YOUR BULBS EVERY YEAR - OLD BULBS ARE USELESS

Shipping fees to non-US addresses, or faster express shipping, will be quoted upon request.

Please NOTE that UV bulbs should be replaced after 12-14 months of use to be sure of proper operation. You may see "light" through the peep hole in the fixture, but the UV spectrum that kills bacteria and algae is no longer being produced at enough power to actually sterilize the water rushing past the light source.

Max Flow for each light fixture is Gallons Per Hour

The fixtures are made of PVC, with "slip" fittings - meaning you use PVC glue to attach your plumbing. If you have plumbing at a size other than that for the fixture, your plumbing supply will have an adapter to glue into the fitting, and then glue your plumbing into the adapter. In my pond, I use 1.5 inch PVC plumbing, which is glued into a 1.5 -to- 2 inch adapter.
